Common Questions
Buying & Selling in Lincolnwood and Skokie
Is Lincolnwood or Skokie a better fit for me?
Lincolnwood is a smaller village of about 13,000 people with mostly single-family homes on generous lots, its own K–8 school district and a quiet, residential feel. Skokie is larger (about 68,000 people) with a wider mix of housing — bungalows, ranches, split-levels, townhomes and condos — plus the CTA Yellow Line and more shopping and dining. Many of my buyers tour both before deciding.
Which schools serve Lincolnwood and Skokie?
Lincolnwood is served by Lincolnwood School District 74 for elementary and middle school and by Niles Township High School District 219 (Niles West). Skokie is divided among several elementary districts, and most students attend Niles North or Niles West in District 219. Boundaries can change street by street, so always confirm by address.
How fast are homes selling in Lincolnwood and Skokie right now?
